Determine the technical documentation requirements of end users
Work with teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of technical information, documentation content and requirements
Organize and write supporting documents
Organize and write Information Security Policies and IT Operational Procedures
Select appropriate medium for message or audience, such as manuals or online videos
Standardize content across platforms and systems
Revise documents, as needed
Technical Skills
Previous technical experience highly desired
Soft Skills
Knowledge of information gathering, planning and organizing methods and principles
Familiarity with conventions in form, structure, and notation of technical writing
Strong understanding of document formatting and presentation techniques
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills;
Knowledge of writing style guidelines
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Years of Experience:
2-3 years hands-on technical writing and editing experience, with specific experience in documenting Information Technology policies/guidelines, procedures, system architecture
Educational Background: College graduate, IT-related course is an advantage
