Job Description

Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of the organization's learning and development strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals. Drive talent development initiatives, manage the corporate learning ecosystem, and oversee the sustainability of the virtual Corporate University. Provide leadership and guidance to the Talent Development team.

Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Behavioral Studies, Human Resource Management, Management, or related business field
  • Master's-level coursework or diploma in HR, OD, Adult Learning, Instructional Design, or Business Administration is preferred

Experience

  • At least years total HR experience with 5+ years focused on Learning & Development/Organizational Development, including:
  • End-to-end training cycle ownership (assessment design delivery implementation evaluation).
  • Managing LMS platforms and digital learning programs
  • Partner/vendor management and contract negotiation
  • Budget planning and ROI analysis for L&D
  • Experience in power/utilities/industrial operations or multi-site environments is a strong plus

Licenses/Certifications (preferred but valuable)

  • Certified Trainer/Facilitator
  • Learning & Development Practitioner/Professional certification
  • HR Practitioner/Professional certification

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Learning & Development Leadership

  • Develop and implement L&D strategies aligned with organizational objectives
  • Oversee competency-based learning frameworks and succession planning initiatives
  • Manage annual training budget and ensure ROI on learning programs

Program Design & Innovation

  • Lead the creation and continuous improvement of learning programs (classroom, e-learning, blended)
  • Introduce innovative learning technologies and methodologies
  • Evaluate external providers and negotiate partnerships for cost-effective solutions

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Supervise and mentor Talent Development Specialists
  • Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and external training providers
  • Drive change management initiatives related to learning and talent development

Learning Analytics & Impact Measurement

  • Establish metrics to measure training effectiveness and business impact
  • Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards

Digital Learning & LMS Oversight

  • Manage the virtual learning platform and ensure content relevance
  • Champion digital learning transformation and knowledge management systems
