Join a leading IT company as an Associate Product Support Specialist (internal job title) / Technical Support Specialist (external job title) and support Carbonite, a trusted cloud storage and data protection solution of OpenText.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

  • Be part of a dedicated account, working directly with the company behind the product.
  • Provide business-to-consumer (B2C) technical support, primarily through high-volume calls, with additional exposure to email and chat channels.
  • Engage with a predominantly U.S.-based customer base, gaining valuable experience in international client support.
  • Experience in upselling/do retention is a plus
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting on issues, including but not limited to, missing data and advanced technical issues.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Must be amenable to do hybrid work (3x onsite/week, 2 days WFH) in Makati
  • Must be flexible to work PREDOMINANTLY NIGHT shift, can do shift rotation (including weekends), as needed
  • Preferred, but not required, at least 1 year of Technical Support experience/background with very good problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Associate Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience is preferred
  • Must be able to work during Philippine holidays, and on-call (when necessary)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ideally 1-2 years experience supporting Windows (Desktop and Server environments), Mac OS, desktop applications, networking, security, and web applications
