What You'll Do
- Manage Systems: Update and troubleshoot Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat) and Windows Server (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy) environments to ensure reliability.
- Support Backend Systems: Maintain iTeraTEL's backend infrastructure (servers, applications, databases) powering phone and internet services.
- Handle Customer Support: Resolve inbound calls from iTeraTEL's business customers, troubleshooting phone (Cloud Phone System, SIP Trunking) and internet issues.
- Maintain Networks: Configure TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, routers, and VPNs for secure connectivity.
- Drive Virtualization: Manage virtual machines using VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Ensure Security: Apply patches, manage firewalls, and implement backup systems to protect data.
- Support Teams: Assist iTeraSource employees with hardware, software, and network issues.
- Collaborate: Work with IT teams and vendors to align with business goals.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in IT administration or a similar role.Not suitable for first-time job seekers.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat) and Windows Server (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy) with patch management.
- Strong knowledge of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN), routing/switching, and VPN configuration.
- Experience with VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V for virtualization.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, including Teams integration, and VoIP (e.g., SIP Trunking).
- Understanding of cybersecurity and backup solutions.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills to support non-technical customers.
- Location: Must reside within 45 minutes of Oakridge Business Park, Mandaue City.No relocation support provided.
Work Environment
- Location: Office-based at iTeraSource Philippines Corporation, Oakridge Business Park, Mandaue City.
- Schedule: Overnight shift (7 PM3 AM or 8 PM4 AM) to support Canadian business hours, with occasional extended hours for critical issues.
- No Remote Work: This is a fully in-office role with no work-from-home option.
- Impact: Support iTeraSource's office, iTeraTEL's backend systems, and global business customers in a vibrant commercial hub.
