Role Description

The Technical Support Specialist is responsible for providing basic technical assistance to users regarding computer hardware, software, internet connectivity, printers, and other IT-related concerns. The role includes troubleshooting common issues, setting up and maintaining desktops or laptops, assisting with user accounts, and ensuring that reported technical problems are addressed promptly. The position also supports day-to-day IT operations and helps maintain reliable technology services for employees and clients.

  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and operating systems
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, email systems, and common business applications
  • Basic troubleshooting skills for desktops, laptops, printers, internet connectivity, and user accounts
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service orientation and patience in assisting users
  • Willingness to learn new systems, tools, and technologies
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple support requests
  • Willing to render onsite support or fieldwork when needed
