What We're Looking For
We're looking for a highly resourceful technical support engineer that can assist the Media Display Solutions Team on delivering above expected outcomes and is very particular in details.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Provides technical support to MDS clients.
- Assist Sales Engineers in performing product demonstration and site ocular.
- Develop and implement audio-visual integrated solutions.
- Translate customer needs and requirements to system, component, and software solution specifications.
- Quality checking of media display units prior events and/or projects.
- Conducts installation, configuration and dismantling.
- Conducts troubleshooting, repairing and preventive maintenance activities.
- Conducts network diagram planning and drawing.
- Conducts user training of both software and hardware in coordination with the assigned Solutions Engineer.
- Prepares post project reports including photo and video of task completed.
- Establishes good relationship and coordination with the Project Manager, Solution Engineers, Sales team, internal divisions, and contractors.
- May supervise contractors work from time to time.
- Provides technical support to UN-owned, partnered, and contracted media display solutions.
- Quality checking of media display units prior to events and/or projects.
- Conducts installation, configuration and dismantling.
- Conducts troubleshooting, repairing and preventive maintenance activities.
- Conducts network diagram planning and drawing.
- Prepares post project reports including photo and video of task completed.
- Perform Content Management.
- Provides routine checks of all UN-owned LED sites.
- Photo and Video Taking as required.
- Conducts site maintenance and equipment inventory.
- Monitor Spare Parts inventories and submit monthly reports.
- Conducts repair of spare parts and accessories.
- Provides assistance in product testing and analyzing.
- Performs other related tasks such as those listed below, but not limited to:
- Provides effective business development and professional sales service, proposals and submissions, contract, develop customer relation and representation for UN products and services.
- Make a monthly calendarized work coverage plan.
- Maintain organized and accurate filing of data and documents.
- Maintain confidentiality as to its appropriateness to documents, information, files and data involving United Neon and its engagement.
- Initiate and answer communications within the team and to other departments as it may be necessary to involve along the course of its duty.
- Help team to provide production and accomplishment based on KPI.
- Make regular business report.
Educational Background And Work Experience
- Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering or any related course.
- At least 1 year experience in technical LED installations, repairs, maintenance and Audio-Visual related projects.
- Licensed Electronics Engineer is an advantage.
Key Competencies And Skills Needed
- Good electrical and electronics background
- Strong technical understanding of Audio-Visual solutions
- Computer literate
- Proficiency in using MS Office
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and is comfortable dealing with a variety of end users and stakeholders
- Excellent in analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Good eye for details
- Unimpaired color vision
- Able to work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision.
