Your Role:
As a Technical Support Engineer, you will:

• Resolve technical incidents, problems, and change requests reported through the Support Portal.
• Diagnose root causes of application issues and document comprehensive solutions for bespoke software.
• Replicate customer-reported issues in a test environment to identify software bugs or configuration errors.
• Manage the prioritization of tickets based on severity, ensuring timely resolution or escalation.
• Validate system configurations following ISO 9001 systems engineering methodologies.

What You Need:
Non-negotiables

• At least 5 yearsu0027 experience in software project delivery or technical support for process-oriented environments.
• Proven history of supporting bespoke software applications.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Databases, T-SQL (Stored Procedures, Views, Functions, and Triggers).
• Experience using Microsoft SQL Management Studio to diagnose and address operational data issues.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, suitable for supporting international (US-based) clients.

Preferred skills/expertise

• Degree in Computer Science, Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or IT.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and automation within the Food and Beverage industry.
• Exposure to AspenTech MES or similar Smart Manufacturing systems.
• Foundational programming skills in C#, JavaScript, HTML, or the .NET Framework.
• Familiarity with SSRS Reporting, WPF, or XAML.
