Description
Technical Support Engineers are indispensable for coordinating tasks, managing timelines, and facilitating communication among team members, ensuring the smooth execution of projects and achieving organizational objectives efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Assists the PMO team in creating and maintaining project dashboards, monitoring project plans, timelines and costs, and makes timely callouts.
- Coordinates project management activities with internal resources and third-party vendors related to domain specific tasks.
- Assists in the creation and maintenance of domain level and rolled up project documentation and reports.
- Provides logistics and administrative support as needed.
- Assists the Project Delivery team in strategizing integrated assessment of build programs.
- Transforms project data to a usable report for the project delivery team.
- Attends project-related meeting ceremonies and critical site activities.
- Vendor Management and Vendor Resource Tracking.
- Provide timely updates and project reports as needed.
- Identifying and sorting of SOW based on region/squad/teams/vendors, etc.
- Reports in the format required by Client such as but not limited to: Project Dashboards, Status Reports, Post activity reports, Completion reports, Progress reports, Deviation Analysis, Build Fault Ticket Closure, Rolling Forecast/Build Planning, PCR Monitoring, TRFS/CRFS, Milestone Tracking and Handover to Ops, Master Data Base Consolidation, proper gating and review of completeness of data, Build Handover to Ops report.
- Transforms project data to usable report.
- Helps facilitate risk mitigation and issue resolution relative to budget, inventory and PR/PO.
- Consolidates and analyzes rollout and project updates to effectively monitor initiatives under his/her specific portfolio.
- Analyzes and provides summaries for portfolio performance metrics.
- Monitors end-to-end compliance of projects against established portfolio roadmap.
- Supports the Portfolio Manager in critical portfolio meetings and cadences.
- Participates in projects Post Implementation Reviews (PIR's) to determine wins, lessons learned and key improvements.
- Portfolio Management - Understands project management principles and have basic understanding of the nine knowledge areas.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering/project management, or a similar field.
- A minimum of 1-year experience as a PMO analyst / similar role in the Telecommunications field.
- Ability to analyze a range of complex data and make decisions based on analytical findings.
- Strong coordination, administration abilities and keen to details.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office & Google tools with experience in vendor/subcon management.
- With experience in validation, and review of complex data.
- Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team Player - with experience in generating dashboards based on data on hand.
