Role: Technical Support and Release Manager

Work Arrangement: Work from Home

Location: Philippines - Any CS Branch (Makati, Ortigas, Pampanga, Cebu)

Schedule: Night/Morning shift

Job description:

Key responsibilities

Client Support

  • Support new client installations and onboarding
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, including configuration and installation problems
  • Provide support coverage and pick up client tickets when the support team is short-staffed

Release Management

  • Coordinate and manage software release processes
  • Test new releases for Python, SQL Server/Snowflake installations
  • Perform regression testing to validate new releases and prevent production issues
  • Help ensure release quality, readiness, and documentation are complete before deployment

Documentation and Enablement

  • Help create and maintain product documentation
  • Develop new tutorials and support content for clients
  • Improve internal release and support documentation to streamline repeatable processes

Systems Administration

  • Manage internal servers and Snowflake accounts
  • Set up and maintain security groups and access controls
  • Support synchronization of data between SQL Server and Snowflake
  • Work with feed providers to load, maintain, and validate data across Snowflake and SQL Server environments

Software Quality and Operations

  • Support software testing efforts across releases
  • Help identify, document, and track issues through resolution
  • Contribute to operational processes that improve reliability, support responsiveness, and release consistency

Qualification and requirements:

Required qualifications

  • Experience in technical support, client support, release management, QA, systems administration, or a related role
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve technical configuration and installation issues
  • Familiarity with software testing and release validation processes
  • Experience working with databases and data platforms such as SQL Server and Snowflake
  • Ability to manage user permissions, access controls, and security groups
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities across support, releases, and operations
  • Strong written communication skills for documentation and client-facing support
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, growing company environment

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience supporting Python and R environments
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as Freshdesk
  • Familiarity with certificates, application permissions, and deployment-related administration
  • Experience working with data vendors or feed providers
  • Exposure to financial data, analytics platforms, or investment technology workflows
  • Experience creating tutorials, user guides, or technical documentation

Non-negotiable skills & requirements:

  • Python and SQL coding skills. Database experience.
