As a Technical Service Scientist, you are expected to provide prompt, professional, and accurate advisory and support service to our customers in research, forensic, clinical, and other markets via email and other channels, in accordance with all applicable regulations.
Your Task Include
- Acquire and apply constantly changing knowledge of technology, products, and processes
- Take ownership of customers, develop relationships, and support sales
- Provides technical direction and support to customers and field sales on operation and maintenance of company products
- Demonstrates uses and advantages of products
- Works closely with sales and marketing, QA/QC, research and development to address customer concerns, determine corrective action and customer follow-up
- Assist in Meeting/exceeding sales targets and related KPI's in relation to maintaining high customer satisfaction
- Effectively prioritize tasks to efficiently manage the needs of our customers and the team
Your Profile
- Degree in Molecular Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Bio Informatics & IT combined or related field
- Broad theoretical and practical knowledge of molecular biology, biomedical engineering or similar field. Substantial lab experience in molecular biology together with first hand practical experience of the most frequently used techniques is a plus
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience is a plus
- Strong IT and computer software skills
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and be self-directed
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, team player with a positive and a can do attitude
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills with focus on helping customers and others
- Ability to take ownership of complex information and customer interactions, to provide excellent support with focus on customers, and to work in a changing environment.
