Role Description:
The Technical Sales Representative (TSR) supports Turris Philippines portfolio of specialty and functional food ingredients (e.g., starches, plant proteins, flavors, sausage casings and ingredients solutions).
The role combines technical engagement and consultative selling, working closely with food manufacturers, processors, and key institutional accounts to deliver formulation-driven value, support trials, and grow assigned categories.
This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy problem-solving, customer interaction, and translating technical concepts into commercial solutions.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage strong, long-term relationship with assigned customers and prospects
- Conduct technical sales visits, product presentations, and application discussions
- Identify customer formulation needs and recommend appropriate ingredient solutions
- Support product trials, evaluations, and technical follow-ups in coordination with Technical Services
- Prepare visit reports, opportunity pipelines, and market feedback using CRM systems
- Coordinate with Sales Operations, Distributions, and Customer Success teams to ensure reliable execution
- Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and new market segments
- Represent Turris professionally in customer meetings, industry events and technical sessions
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, Nutrition, or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in B2B sales, technical sales, or account management within food manufacturing, ingredients, or related industries
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good negotiation skills

- Analytical mindset with the ability to understand and explain technical concepts
- Willingness to conduct regular field visits and customer engagements
