We are seeking results-driven Technical Sales Account Managers to drive solution-selling efforts across a wide range of clients. This role focuses on understanding customer business challenges, scoping technical requirements, and delivering tailored IT solutions that create measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Selling & Technical Engagement
- Engage with clients to understand their business challenges, technical needs, and IT priorities.
- Position and sell integrated IT solutions, including systems integration, cloud, cybersecurity, and digital transformation services.
- Lead consultative and technical conversations to influence client buying decisions.
High-Level Solution Articulation
- Present complex solutions in a clear, compelling manner to both technical and business stakeholders.
- Conduct demos, workshops, and presentations that showcase solution value and differentiation.
- Support proposal creation, RFP/RFI responses, and high-level solution diagrams.
Requirement Scoping & Solution Design
- Collaborate with clients to define solution scope, requirements, and success criteria.
- Translate business needs into high-level architectures and technical documentation.
- Ensure proposed solutions are feasible, aligned with industry best practices, and meet client objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with presales, product, implementation and principal/vendor teams to ensure seamless solution delivery.
- Provide market feedback and client insights to internal teams to support product strategy and enhancements.
Performance & Ownership
- Meet or exceed financial targets set by the company: sales, gross profit, margin and pipeline.
- Drive measurable sales outcomes, including deal closures, client satisfaction, and solution adoption.
- Maintain accurate records of client engagements, proposals, and sales pipeline.
- Take initiative and demonstrate proactive problem-solving in delivering solutions.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in technical sales, presales, or solution selling to clients of varying sizes and industries.
- Strong understanding of enterprise and mid-market IT architectures, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and systems integration.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
Preferred:
- Experience with solution design tools and proposal writing.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks and industry standards (e.g., ISO, NIST, ITIL).
- Proven ability to close high-value deals and deliver impactful client presentations.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally when needed.
