We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Technical Project Manager to assist in translating business requirements into actionable technical tasks, support the engineering team's workflow, and contribute to the successful execution of projects. What will you do
Task Definition and Delegation:
- Assist in translating business requirements into technical tasks under the guidance of senior team members.
- Ensure tasks are clear and feasible for the engineering team.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with creatives and technical leadership to support project goals, methodologies, and execution plans.
- Provide support in aligning team efforts with project objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Support senior team members in working with stakeholders to define and prioritize tasks according to business needs.
- Assist in maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.
Roadmap Planning:
- Aid in the creation and updating of roadmaps for product features and technical improvements.
- Ensure alignment with strategic objectives under the supervision of senior team members.
Agile Management:
- Assist in facilitating Agile ceremonies for the engineering team, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
- Promote efficient workflow and communication within the team.
Progress Tracking:
- Support in monitoring project progress and providing updates to key stakeholders.
- Highlight achievements and address potential delays under the guidance of senior team members.
Training and Development:
- Participate in establishing and implementing training processes and strategies for technical personnel.
- Promote continuous development and upskilling with oversight from senior team members.
Requirements Analysis:
- Aid in analyzing, planning, and developing requirements and standards for scheduled projects.
- Ensure technical specifications meet business needs under the guidance of senior team members.
Team Oversight:
- Assist in assigning and overseeing the daily tasks of technical personnel.
- Ensure team members are actively working toward established milestones with guidance from senior team members.
Team Meetings:
- Participate in regular technical team meetings to gauge progress and address questions or challenges.
- Foster a collaborative problem-solving environment under the guidance of senior team members.
Project Clarification:
- Support in determining and defining clear deliverables, roles, and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives.
- Ensure clarity and alignment under the guidance of senior team members.
Recruitment and Training:
- Assist in recruitment and training processes under the supervision of senior team members.
- Enhance team capabilities and readiness.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 yrs experience in project management
- Some experience or foundational understanding of project management principles.
- Experience in e-commerce is not required, but a plus/preferred
- Familiarity with VSL, and e-commerce (Shopify)- coordination with the content team/design team
- Agile methodology experience/knowledgeable
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical tasks.
- Willingness to learn and develop under the guidance of senior team members.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
