About the Role

We are seeking a Product Owner to join our Technology department in Manila, focusing on our Data Services products—including APIs and Data Feeds—that power data access and distribution across our business. In this role, you will own the product backlog for our data services portfolio, drive product excellence, and ensure our APIs and data feeds deliver reliable, scalable, and valuable data capabilities to internal and external consumers.

Reporting to the Senior Product Manager in Manila, you will work closely with engineering teams, data consumers, and business stakeholders to deliver robust, well-documented APIs and data feeds that support our operations and strategic data goals.

Key responsibilities

• Own and prioritize the product backlog for Data Services (APIs, data feeds, data delivery mechanisms, and integration capabilities)
• Define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for API and data feed features, ensuring alignment with consumer needs and data standards
• Collaborate with engineering teams to refine the technical backlog, ensure stories are ready for development, and unblock technical challenges
• Provide technical direction and clarification to engineering teams during sprints
• Communicate technical progress, risks, and dependencies to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Present Data Services roadmaps and product decisions to senior leadership and key stakeholders
• Manage expectations and negotiate scope with stakeholders while maintaining technical integrity
• Work with data consumers, business intelligence, analytics, operations, and other departments to understand data needs and use cases
• Translate business and data requirements into well-defined API contracts, data schemas, and feed specifications
• Drive API and data feed adoption through effective developer documentation, onboarding guides, and stakeholder enablement
• Gather feedback from API consumers and data feed subscribers, and iterate on product features to improve usability, reliability, and data quality

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in technology, ideally with exposure to data products, APIs, or integration platforms
• Ability to write clear, testable user stories and technical acceptance criteria
• Excellent understanding of Agile methodology and principles
• Excellent communication skills with ability to bridge technical and business conversations
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and stakeholders
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar
• Knowledge of software application development lifecycle and processes
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
• Comfortable working across time zones with distributed teams
