- Demonstrated experience as a Technical Product Manager, working in a modern software or product organisation (5+ Years)
- Driving the discovery process
- Understands customer needs and market trends
- Continuously seeking to understand customer needs, pain points, and motivations to develop products that meet customer requirements and deliver value
- Creates product vision and multiquarter roadmaps
- Prioritises features based on value, cost, and risk
- Capable of prioritising features, requirements, and tasks based on customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility
- Builds simple business cases to justify investment
Technical & Delivery
- Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, or Lean
- Understands core software concepts (APIs, data, front/back end)
- Understanding of programming concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns
- Translates ideas into clear requirements and user stories
- Works with engineering using Agile practices
- Manages risks, dependencies, and delivery expectations
Customer & Stakeholder
- Gathers feedback from customers and users
- Conduct customer interviews and surveys to gather requirements and craft suitable solutions
- Familiarity with UX design principles and human centred design methodologies
- Communicates technical ideas in simple business language
- Manages internal stakeholders (execs, sales, marketing, engineering)
- Supports change management for new features or releases
Analytical & Decision-Making
- Strong analytical skills to collect, analyse, and interpret data to inform product decisions
- Uses data to decide what to build next
- Runs experiments or pilots to validate ideas
- Breaks down complex problems and makes clear decisions
