About the Role
MEC Networks Corporation is looking for a hands-on Technical Operations Manager to lead and optimize our technical operations. In this role, you'll oversee daily operations, drive process improvements, and ensure our technical teams deliver with efficiency, quality, and alignment with business objectives. You'll collaborate with Engineering, Sales, and Management teams while coaching and empowering your team to perform at their best.
What You'll Do
Operations & Execution
- Lead and optimize day-to-day technical operations, ensuring timely delivery, efficiency, and quality
- Design, implement, and continuously improve scalable workflows, processes, and standards
- Analyze operational data to drive decisions on resource planning, prioritization, and business growth readiness
Leadership & People Management
- Lead, coach, and mentor teams to achieve performance and operational goals
- Set priorities, assign tasks, and monitor progress while providing continuous feedback
- Foster a high-performance, accountable culture and resolve or escalate operational issues as needed
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Accountability
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Management to align technical execution with business strategy
- Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and operational metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement
- Act as escalation point for complex issues while ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or a related field, with 5+ years of IT/technical operations experience and leadership exposure
- Strong business acumen with structured decision-making and process improvement experience
- Solid understanding of ICT solutions (networking, cybersecurity, infrastructure); system integration or ICT distribution experience is a plus
- Proven ability in operational management, performance monitoring, and analytical problem-solving
- Effective leader and communicator who can coach, influence, and perform in a fast-paced environment
