Job Description


Job Title: Manager, Software Engineering (Technical Manager .Net)
Reports To: VP, Global Technology; Sr. Manager, Software Engineering; Director, Software Engineering

Location: Mandaluyong City

Work Set Up: 2x a week RTO

Purpose of the Role

Lead 13 Delivery teams to produce scalable, reliable, and cost-effective software solutions that meet internal and external client business needs. Build, train, and manage high-performing delivery teams while fostering a process-driven culture within a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

People Management (25%)
Directly manage 13 Delivery teams, including recruitment and hiring, performance management, training, and mentoring of team members.

Project / Product Ownership (30%)
Oversee projects and products owned by the team. Lead the technical design, prototyping, development, testing, and deployment activities across the full software development lifecycle for internal and external projects/products. Collaborate with Architects and internal Technology teams while adhering to Agile Scrum SDLC practices and internal security policies.

Resource Allocation and Project Management (20%)
Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and senior Technology leadership to develop project schedules and manage delivery teams to meet business expectations.

Explore New Opportunities (15%)
Identify and explore opportunities to improve SDU team efficiency through regular task observation. Lead the team in accelerating the adoption and transformation of new technologies into products.

Support Technology Strategy (10%)
Support the development and ongoing maintenance of ReSource Pro's technology strategy.

Qualifications

Education Background:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field. Strong candidates with other relevant degree backgrounds will also be considered.

Work Experience:

  • 710 years of working experience in software development or technology consulting

Competencies, Skills, and Behaviors
  • Proven success in building, motivating, and retaining high-performing teams

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience developing enterprise software in cross-platform environments, preferably from an engineering and/or architecture perspective

  • Minimum of 35 years of experience managing software development projects

  • Strong ability to plan, organize, and successfully manage multiple simultaneous projects

  • Deep technical expertise in both .Net and Java-based technologies

  • Proficient in MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel

  • Strong knowledge of software design and development concepts, database structures, and system integration principles

  • Strong analytical skills with a structured approach to problem-solving

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
