Key Responsibilities
System Design & Improvement: Design and modify electrical systems, controls, and components using CAD software to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical equipment, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), motors, and power distribution systems.
Project Management: Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment to ensure it meets specifications and safety standards.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure all electrical installations adhere to federal, state, and company safety regulations (e.g., NFPA 70E).
Technical Support & Documentation: Create, update, and maintain technical documentation, including electrical schematics and operating procedures.
Collaboration: Work with production teams to identify bottlenecks and implement electrical solutions to optimize manufacturing, as shown on the Indeed website.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens), SCADA, AutoCAD, and electrical troubleshooting, according to the Facebook post.
Experience: 15+ years in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
