Job Description
We are seeking a delivery-focused professional with strong experience in core banking and deposits modernization to support build stream execution and closure. The role involves coordinating across technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality delivery within banking transformation programs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently in complex environments.
Responsibilities
- Support build stream closure, ensuring all deliverables are completed, documented, and lessons learned are captured
- Track and maintain RAID logs (risks, actions, issues, decisions) and dependencies; escalate blockers proactively
- Assist in vendor selection and ongoing vendor management for project support
- Support detailed planning activities and schedule creation for assigned delivery areas
- Collaborate with technical teams, solution architects, vendors, and IT teams to identify, document, and manage risks and issues impacting scope, timeline, cost, and quality
- Ensure alignment of build activities with target-state core banking architecture and design principles
- Maintain a clear understanding of technical delivery scope vs. business requirements, ensuring alignment of baselines and changes
- Manage and track external dependencies, including impact assessment of any changes
- Ensure delivery modules have a defined test strategy, plan, and schedule (Unit, System, Integration, Migration, NFR, UAT support)
- Coordinate with application and platform owners on deployment planning and operational readiness prior to cut-over
Qualifications
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in delivery or project management within banking or financial services
- Proven experience managing large, complex, multi-functional teams
- Direct involvement in core banking and deposits modernization programs (recent engagements preferred)
- Experience in APAC/regional delivery is an advantage
- Hands-on experience with at least two core banking platforms: Fiserv, Finacle, or TCS BaNCS
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in transformation environments
- Consulting background is a plus, but not required

- Strong delivery coordination and tracking of plans, actions, and dependencies
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with ability to translate technical updates into clear status reports
- High attention to detail with strong documentation skills
- Effective stakeholder management across bank and vendor teams
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to assess options and impacts
