Technical Consultant Application Security

We are seeking a skilled Technical Consultant – Application Security with strong expertise in .NET backend development, AWS cloud, and secure application design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and securing cloud-native applications while ensuring compliance with application security best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain secure backend applications using C# .NET / .NET Core

• Implement secure coding practices to prevent vulnerabilities and ensure application security

• Design and deploy applications on AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring cloud security best practices

• Identify, analyze, and remediate security vulnerabilities in applications

• Apply OWASP Top 10, MITRE CWE, and threat modeling methodologies such as STRIDE

• Support DevSecOps processes, including secure CI/CD pipeline integration

• Perform application security assessments, code reviews, and vulnerability remediation

• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to ensure secure application delivery

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent

• Strong hands-on experience in C# .NET / .NET Core backend development

• Experience designing and implementing secure applications

• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure and cloud-native architecture

• Good understanding of application security concepts (OWASP Top 10, MITRE CWE)

• Experience with Threat Modeling (STRIDE) and vulnerability management

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with DevSecOps practices and secure CI/CD pipelines

• Familiarity with application security testing tools

• Experience with open-source security tools and vulnerability scanning
