Job Description

Own the technical direction, architecture, and delivery of critical backend services and platform components.
Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and highly available systems using Go (Golang).
Architect and optimize Kafka-based event-driven solutions to support business growth and platform reliability.
Drive performance, resilience, and scalability improvements across Redis and PostgreSQL environments.
Provide hands-on technical leadership through coding, code reviews, troubleshooting, and solution design.
Mentor and coach engineers, promoting engineering best practices and a culture of continuous learning.
Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver impactful solutions.

The Successful Applicant

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong expertise in Go (Golang), Kafka, Kubernetes (K8s), Redis, and PostgreSQL.
Proven experience designing and operating large-scale, high-availability distributed systems.
Deep understanding of software architecture, advanced programming principles, and design patterns.
The ability to promote and demonstrate clean, maintainable, and scalable coding practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges.
Experience building secure, resilient, and performance-oriented applications.
Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated leadership experience with a track record of mentoring and developing engineering talent.
A hands-on, ownership-driven mindset with a passion for delivering impactful technology solutions at scale.
