Your impact
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong pastoral leadership, supporting team wellbeing, engagement, and day-to-day guidance.
- Assist with resource planning to ensure effective workload distribution and operational resilience across the team.
- Support the Section Leader and Director of Operations by reinforcing strategic priorities, maintaining team focus, and enabling clear, consistent communication.
- Review and approve weekly timesheets, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Conduct or support e3 career, performance, and development conversations, fostering continuous growth.
- Coach and mentor junior and mid-level team members, providing constructive feedback and career support.
- Support the recruitment, onboarding, and integration of new team members.
- Act as a role model and advocate for Jacobs Culture of Caring, Inclusion & Diversity, and key strategic initiatives.
Here's what you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, or related field).
- Proven experience in the Piping or Structural or Electrical in the field of Semiconductor, Pharmaceutical, Data Center or Built Environment
- Previous leadership or team management experience.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and industry codes,
- Excellent communication, portfolio management, project management and problem‑solving skills.
- Business awareness and interest in contributing to commercial, client, and resourcing decisions.
