Your impact

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strong pastoral leadership, supporting team wellbeing, engagement, and day-to-day guidance.
  • Assist with resource planning to ensure effective workload distribution and operational resilience across the team.
  • Support the Section Leader and Director of Operations by reinforcing strategic priorities, maintaining team focus, and enabling clear, consistent communication.
  • Review and approve weekly timesheets, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Conduct or support e3 career, performance, and development conversations, fostering continuous growth.
  • Coach and mentor junior and mid-level team members, providing constructive feedback and career support.
  • Support the recruitment, onboarding, and integration of new team members.
  • Act as a role model and advocate for Jacobs Culture of Caring, Inclusion & Diversity, and key strategic initiatives.

Here's what you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, or related field).
  • Proven experience in the Piping or Structural or Electrical in the field of Semiconductor, Pharmaceutical, Data Center or Built Environment
  • Previous leadership or team management experience.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and industry codes,
  • Excellent communication, portfolio management, project management and problem‑solving skills.
  • Business awareness and interest in contributing to commercial, client, and resourcing decisions.
