The Team Lead is responsible for managing and leading a team of recruiters/administrators in various aspects of people management, coaching, and mentoring to engage and motivate the team to meet targets, SLAs, and KPIs. The role includes planning and executing campus recruitment activities, managing stakeholder relationships, and overseeing the team's performance and development. The Team Lead will work closely with the Senior Manager (SM), Manager (CSM), and the recruiters to ensure high-quality campus recruitment services and a smooth campus recruitment process while fostering a positive team culture and inclusive work environment.

Key Accountabilities:

What you'll be doing:

  • Support recruiters/coordinators to ensure they are meeting relevant targets, including
  • acting as a point of escalation for challenges raised during the recruitment process.
  • Provide oversight of requisitions managed by recruiters as guardians of quality and
  • experience.
  • Mentor recruiters/coordinators to deliver recruitment services and drive hiring manager relationships.
  • Provide pastoral care, training guidance, including supporting recruiters/coordinators with their own career paths.
  • Maintain regular communication with team members, including conducting regular 1:1s and virtual/in-person team collaboration sessions.
  • Resourcing: reviewing workload and capacity to ensure maximum productivity. Leaves management to ensure coverage across the season, especially during peak seasons.
  • Ensure the recruitment service is delivered in line with contractual obligations and client service level agreements.
  • Lead vacancy consultation discussions in partnership with the CSM/SM to agree to recruitment plans with hiring managers and document outcomes of the intake meeting.
  • Deliver excellent candidate experience in conjunction with the onsite coordinators and the Philippines team; managing candidate satisfaction with the recruitment experience, from initial interview/assessment centre to start date.
  • Support the hiring manager(s) with hiring decisions and guide them in determining an appropriate offer; lead the calibrations session and offer process to close the candidate.
  • Anticipate potential stakeholder issues within own area of expertise, taking action to address, and using judgement to escalate appropriately.
  • Create and maintain trusted partner relationships with hiring managers/stakeholders.
  • Maintain execution of the end-to-end delivery of campus recruitment services to them, providing counsel, advising through insight and SME knowledge on the recruitment process, and ensuring that timelines are correctly identified and met.
  • Lead discussion on attraction strategies, working with CSM/SM and Head of Early
  • Careers/Junior Talent to correctly identify approach based on market and hiring demands.
  • Partner with CSM/SM in creating strong partnerships with all internal and external stakeholders, attending regular calls, to build understanding of process and satisfaction in the service.
  • Coach and mentor Recruiters and Coordinators on best practice approaches and client culture, supporting them in achieving success in their roles.

Skills & Requirements:

You'll need to demonstrate:

  • Experience leading and managing a cross functional team, including performance and underperformance management – capable to give constructive feedback, lead productive team meetings and one to ones or coaching sessions.
  • Experience of managing direct client relationships - capable to appraise risks and opportunities in client's demands, new solutions, process changes.
  • Excellent English business communication skills, written and oral
  • Experience of end-to-end recruitment delivery with preferred expertise in early careers and campus
  • Understanding of campus marketing and attraction strategies (e.g. events, networking, social media and university relations
