About this Position As a Tax Specialist (Sales & Use Tax), you will contribute to the accuracy and integrity of Henkel's US indirect tax compliance and reporting activities. This role is essential in ensuring that tax filings, financial reconciliations, and reporting requirements are completed accurately and on time, helping the business maintain compliance while minimizing financial and regulatory risk.
You will be part of a collaborative tax and finance team that works closely with colleagues across functions to support high-quality financial reporting and compliance processes. In this role, you will have the opportunity to apply your analytical skills, work with financial data, and develop expertise in US indirect taxation. Success is measured through accurate reporting, timely tax filings, strong reconciliation practices, and a commitment to operational excellence that supports the organization's broader financial objectives.
What You´ll Do
- Process and prepare financial reports to support tax compliance and reporting requirements.
- Manage US Indirect Tax return filing activities, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Perform general ledger reconciliations and analyze financial data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare reconciliation reports and support tax reporting activities through accurate documentation and analysis.
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Tax, or any related courses
- Preferably with one (1) year relevant experience in Finance or Tax role
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint, Outlook) is required
- Knowledge on SAP, or any ERP system, and Vertex Sales Tax, or any Tax Tool System is an advantage; Ability to identify problem and propose solutions US Indirect Tax experience is an advantage
- Excellent command of spoken and written English; Must be a team player, and detail-oriented
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Amenable to on a mid‑shift schedule (12:00 NN –to 9:00 PM), and report on a hybrid work set-up in Ayala Avenue, Makati
