Role Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Specialist for a full-time, on-site position in Quezon City. The Tax Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with local tax regulations, preparing and filing accurate tax returns, assisting with tax audits, and providing tax planning strategies. They will collaborate with internal teams and external parties to ensure all tax-related matters are handled efficiently and align with current regulations. Strong knowledge of tax regulations and attention to detail are critical to success in this role.
Qualifications
- Experience in Tax Planning and comprehensive understanding of tax regulations
- Proficiency in Tax Preparation and ability to process accurate and timely tax filings
- Strong knowledge in Tax Law and its applications, ensuring adherence to compliance requirements
- Background in Finance with an understanding of financial principles and tax-related financial impacts
- Ability to work independently with excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in using relevant accounting and tax software
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA license is an advantage
- Experience working in the retail or a similar industry is preferred
