The Tax Audit Officer supports the reporting group during tax audits and provides assistance to affiliate groups in audit-related matters. This role ensures compliance with tax regulations and facilitates smooth audit processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit Preparation:Assist in the preparation of documents and replies required for tax audits, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Audit Support:Act as a liaison between the reporting group and tax authorities during audits, addressing inquiries and providing necessary information.
  • Compliance Support:Monitor compliance with tax laws and regulations, identifying potential issues and recommending corrective actions.
  • Advisory Support:Provide guidance to affiliate groups on audit preparedness and compliance matters.
  • Internal Collaboration:Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate submission of audit-related requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in tax audit or related role.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws and audit procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with audit software is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
