Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Taguig for a Tax Associate. The Tax Associate will be responsible for preparing and filing tax returns, ensuring tax compliance, and staying updated on tax laws and regulations. Day-to-day tasks will include maintaining financial records, analyzing tax-related issues, and providing accurate and timely tax reports.

Qualifications

  1. Tax Compliance, Tax Preparation, and Tax skills
  2. Knowledge of Tax Law and general Finance principles
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  4. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  6. Relevant experience in the field is preferred
  7. Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or related field.
  8. At least 1-year relevant work experience in Finance or Accounting or similar field preferred.
  9. Experience in E-Commerce or Logistics is a plus
  10. CPA certification is an advantage

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

1.Good written and verbal communication skills.

2.Good interpersonal skills

3.Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.

4.Strong organization and project management skills.

5.Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office and relevant software.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Monitors compliance of regional offices on the day-to-day tasks;

2.Monitors compliance of regional offices on the requirements of their respective RDO and LGU;

3.Checks supporting documents if they meet the minimum requirements of BIR;

4.Assists in the submission of letters and documents to the BIR;

5.Assists in the preparation of documents during BIR audits;

6.Assists in liaising with LGU and other government agencies for HQ; and

7.Other tax-related tasks that may be assigned.
