Job Description
Basic Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and filing of all tax returns, and the related attachments, as well as the corresponding payments thereof, in a timely and accurate manner.
Organize and manage tax reports, statements, and other related documents for both the company and its clients.
Assist clients by providing updates, reports, and clarifications on tax-related inquiries.
Maintain and update the companys and clients databases and financial records.
Monitor and stay informed about changes in tax laws, regulations, and industry practices.
Provide administrative and clerical support to the Tax Department when necessary.
Perform other related duties as may be assigned by the Immediate Supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accountancy or any finance-related field
Basic understanding of accounting principles and terminologies
Familiarity with tax laws and statutory regulations
Familiarity in different accounting and BIR-provided software
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related applications
Able to work under supervision but with increasing independence
