Tax Accountant

As our Senior Tax Accountant, you will join our highly skilled Finance Team based in Manila. As such, you will take accountability for monthly, quarterly, and yearly tax compliance throughout the Asia region. You will also be working closely with Automatic Remittance Processing, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Accountants, to ensure appropriate tax postings are reconciled.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Preparation and reporting of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns, as well as ensuring tax reporting is completed in a timely manner to avoid tax penalties 
• Developing and maintaining tax data collection, analysis, and reconciliation systems, including monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations and Tax Schedules
• Supervising tax audits with various taxation authorities, external auditors and lawyers 
• Proactively advising management regarding the tax impact of corporate strategies and new tax laws
• Coordinating outsourced tax preparation work and ensure all policies and standards, as they are introduced, are always adhered to 

• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-growing environment, within small to medium business, across APAC regions, focused on tax accounting  
• Previous exposure to Accounting Systems 
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer) including intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot)
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Commerce or Finance with CPA qualifications is mandatory, with 7+ years of experience
• You are proactive and organized, able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• You are a strong communicator, building relationships and collaborating across teams
