A Talent Review Manager drives strategic talent management by designing and overseeing performance evaluations, succession planning, and high-potential development initiatives. They analyze employee data, facilitate calibration meetings to identify top talent, maintain readiness trackers, and align human capital initiatives with organizational goals to build a future-ready workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Facilitation: Design, implement, and lead the organization-wide Talent Review process and succession planning cycles.
- Calibration & Assessment: Facilitate talent review meetings (e.g., 9-box grid) to evaluate employee potential and performance, ensuring fair calibration across teams.
- Succession Planning: Identify high-potential employees for key leadership roles, map talent pools, and mitigate leadership gaps.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Create and manage talent dashboards, analyze metrics regarding retention and performance, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Development & Coaching: Work with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to create development plans for high-potential individuals, ensuring career growth and skill gap closures.
- System & Process Improvement: Maintain and optimize talent management tools, platforms, and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in Talent Management, HRBP roles, or Organizational Development (OD).
- Facilitation Skills: Strong abilities to facilitate workshops and lead discussions with senior leadership.
- Analytical Ability: Experience using data analytics to understand talent trends.
- Relationship Management: Ability to partner with HRBPs and line managers to identify priorities.
- Knowledge: Expertise in performance management methodologies, 360-degree assessments, and competency frameworks.
