About the Company

The Talent Acquisition Supervisor Retail is responsible for overseeing and managing the recruitment team to ensure timely and effective hiring for retail operations. This role supervises the end-to-end talent acquisition process, develops sourcing strategies, and ensures that staffing needs across stores and retail departments are met in alignment with business objectives. The Talent Acquisition Supervisor must be capable of handling high-volume open requisitions while maintaining efficiency and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Leadership & Supervision

  • Supervise and mentor a team of recruiters focused on retail hiring.
  • Assign recruitment tasks and monitor progress to meet deadlines.
  • Provide training and guidance on recruitment best practices and compliance.

Talent Acquisition Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies tailored to retail staffing needs.
  • Partner with retail store managers and department heads to identify manpower requirements.
  • Oversee job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, and interview coordination.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Manage and prioritize high-volume open requisitions across multiple retail locations.

Process Management & Compliance

  • Standardize recruitment processes across retail operations.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and ethical hiring practices.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records and reports for management.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with HR and operations leadership to forecast hiring needs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies, schools, and job boards.
  • Serve as the point of contact for escalated recruitment concerns.

Performance & Reporting

  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality of hire).
  • Prepare regular reports and updates for HR and management.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 35 years of recruitment/talent acquisition experience, preferably in retail or high-volume hiring.
  • At least 12 years of supervisory or team lead experience.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment tools, job boards, and social media sourcing.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proven ability to handle high-volume open requisitions effectively.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
