Job Description
The Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist is responsible for identifying, attracting, and engaging top talent to support the organization's hiring needs. This role focuses on proactive sourcing strategies, market research, talent pipeline development, and partnership with recruiters and hiring managers to ensure high-quality candidate flow across various roles.
Key Responsibilities
Sourcing & Talent Identification
- Proactively source candidates through job boards, social media, professional networks, talent databases, referrals, and direct sourcing methods.
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Utilize advanced search techniques (Boolean, X-ray, social sourcing, etc.) to identify hard-to-find talent.
- Screen potential candidates for overall fit and alignment with role requirements.
Candidate Engagement & Outreach
- Engage and nurture prospective candidates through personalized messaging and consistent follow-ups.
- Provide candidates with clear information about roles, company culture, and hiring processes.
- Maintain a positive candidate experience throughout the sourcing journey.
Collaboration & Support
- Partner closely with Talent Acquisition Recruiters and Hiring Managers to understand role requirements and ideal candidate profiles.
- Share market insights, sourcing strategies, and talent availability to support hiring decisions.
- Participate in intake meetings and calibration sessions.
Market Research & Strategy Development
- Conduct labor market and competitor research to identify trends affecting talent availability.
- Recommend sourcing strategies based on data, market insights, and historical performance.
- Track and report sourcing metrics, conversion rates, and pipeline status.
Tools & Systems Management
- Use ATS/CRM systems to document candidate information and track sourcing activities.
- Optimize use of sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, job boards, and talent databases.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and recruitment policies.
Job Requirements
- Fluent in verbal and written English.
- Able to multi-task, have demonstrated organizational, detail orientation, prioritization skills and time management skills to ensure that work related activities are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ability to work effectively in a team oriented, high demand and fast paced environment.
- Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and work with highly sensitive data and information.
- Solid communication skills to effectively deal with various levels of management, staff and/or outside contacts.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a professional and positive manner.
- Effective listening skills to ensure understanding of instructions and directions and effectively communicate progress and problems to co-workers and management.
- Familiarity a variety of office equipment, standard software packages and application and use of personal computers to include the Microsoft Office suite of products.
