As an Onboarding Project Hire facilitates the seamless integration of new hires (HR) or customers (Client Success) into an organization. Key responsibilities include managing paperwork, conducting orientations, setting up IT/system access, and acting as the primary point of contact to ensure a positive, compliant, and efficient experience that drives retention and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Coordination: Manage the entire onboarding journey from offer acceptance to full integration, ensuring all steps are completed efficiently.
- Documentation & Compliance: Process employment contracts, NDAs, background checks, and tax forms, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Orientation & Training: Conduct new hire orientations to introduce company culture, policies, and tools, or deliver training to clients on product usage.
- System & Access Setup: Coordinate with IT to ensure equipment (laptops, phones) and software access (email, Slack, CRM) is ready on day one.
- Point of Contact: Serve as the main contact for new hires or clients, answering questions and troubleshooting issues to provide a welcoming, supportive experience.
- Process Improvement: Evaluate and enhance onboarding procedures to improve efficiency and the overall experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with new joiners and stakeholders.
- Organization & Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail for managing, tracking, and filing sensitive, high-volume documentation.
- HR Knowledge: Familiarity with HR software (HRIS), applicant tracking systems (ATS), and employment laws.
- Project Management: Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, stakeholders, and schedules simultaneously.
- Empathy & Customer Service: A welcoming demeanor to foster a positive, inclusive environment.
Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field
- Along with 1-3 years of experience in HR, administrative, or client-facing roles
