Talend Data Consultant

Responsibilities

• Participate in scoping and write technical specifications/design (from general to detailed),
• Carry out developments for exchange and integration solutions and optimise existing flows,
• Build or contribute to the strategy for unit and integration testing, and carry them out in collaboration with business leads,
• Deploy processes into production,
• Depending on your experience and the structure, supervise development teams,
• Learn and share your knowledge and ideas within a team driven by technology.
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Talend Data Integration / Talend Cloud
• Integrate data from multiple sources including databases, files, APIs, and cloud platforms
• Perform data transformation, validation, and quality checks
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and support data integration jobs in development and production
• Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to understand requirements
• Document technical designs, data flows, and operational procedures
• Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and best practices

Profile

• Hands-on experience with Talend (Open Studio, Talend Data Integration, or Talend Cloud)
• 36 years of experience; able to design and deliver end-to-end integrations independently
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases
• Understanding of data integration, ETL/ELT, and data warehousing concepts
• Experience working with structured and semi-structured data (JSON, XML)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Good communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills
