Systems Specialist

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Project Management, System Analysis, and System Design for enterprise applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with .NET Development, MS SQL, API Development, and API Gateway technologies.
• Experience leading and mentoring an API Development Team, including architecture design, implementation, and delivery.
• Proficient in Postman, CI/CD Pipelines, Quality Assurance, and resolving production issues in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to design scalable, secure, and high-performance API architectures and integration solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain APIs and backend applications using .NET Core.
• Design and implement solutions using microservices architecture and integration patterns.
• Develop and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performing RESTful APIs.
• Implement API security using OAuth/OAuth 2.0, authentication, authorization, and API gateways.
• Create and maintain API architecture and technical design documentation. Perform API testing and validation using tools such as Postman and Postman Collections.
• Participate in the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure development deliverables comply with coding standards, security requirements, architecture guidelines, and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot application and API issues and provide root-cause analysis and appropriate technical solutions.
• Collaborate with developers, business users, project teams, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the API Development Squad.
• Lead or coordinate technical activities, ensuring that development deliverables are completed within agreed timelines. Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability. Stay updated on emerging technologies, API standards, security practices, and software development trends.
