JOB SUMMARY:
- TheSystems and Method Specialistmanages the formulation, review, and updating of company-wide policies, procedures, and manuals; serves as custodian of all printed and digital guidelines.
- This position is expected to coordinate with the process owners or concerned business units, key stakeholders, andP&P Review Committee members; may represent the Systems & Methods Unit in meetings, discussions or other activities involving the formulation/development of new or updating of existing P&Ps, Manuals, and/or other internal guidelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Policy Development
- Assist business units in the drafting and/or updating of their policies and procedures (P&Ps), operations manuals and other internal guidelines, based on the approved policy framework and development cycle.
- Facilitate the review of drafted and amended P&Ps, manuals and guidelines by the P&P Review Committee and Senior Management.
- Arrange discussions and meetings, if necessary, with policy authors and reviewers.
- Ensure that Company-wide P&Ps, Manual or other guidelines always consider appropriate levels of internal controls; are aligned with the requirements of the business operations; and compliant with the requirements of governing regulatory agency (e.g., PAGCOR, DOLE, AMLC), national laws and/or other issuances related to operations of integrated resort.
Review of Proposals
- Review, evaluate, and prioritize policy proposals, then endorse and submit deliverables to the Head for final review.
Dissemination and Safekeeping of P&Ps
- Manage the Company's online Policy & Procedures eLibrary, maintain the registry with updates and assignments, and assist in report preparation.
Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration
- Provide accurate reply to verbal or written inquiries and other inter-office communications on the proper interpretation or clarification of the provisions of policies and procedures.
- Maintain a register of designated policy authors, reviewers and approvers.
- Constantly update the policy authors with the status of the policy review requests.
- Gain the support or establish harmonious interaction with the process owner and/or designated P&P author.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in any course.
- At least four (2) years of working experience in a similar role
- Exposure in policy development, writing and proofreading, content development, fact checking, research work, governance and controls
- Good written communication skills
- Good grammar, spelling and punctuation knowledge
- Familiarity with writing styles
- Attention to detail and fact checking
- Organizational and time management skills
- Collaboration and flexibility
- Proficient in computer applications (Microsoft Office, Google Suite, etc.)
