Systems and Database Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Systems and Database Administrator to maintain, secure, and optimize our server and database environments. This role is responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability of IT infrastructure and data assets across both on-premise and cloud platforms. The successful candidate will play a key role in daily operations, system upgrades, database management, backup and recovery, and cybersecurity compliance.

Willing to be assigned in BGC, Taguig and in Alabang.

Key Responsibilities:

• Windows and Linux system administration
• Database administration and performance tuning
• Backup, replication, and disaster recovery
• Scripting using PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Monitoring and troubleshooting tools
• Security hardening and patch management
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills

Qualifications

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or has equivalent relevant work experience. They have at least three to five years of hands-on experience in system and/or database administration, with solid exposure to Windows Server and/or Linux environments. Strong experience managing relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL is required, along with hands-on knowledge of backup and recovery processes. Familiarity with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is an advantage. Professional certifications including Microsoft, Red Hat, or AWS credentials are preferred but not required.
