ACMobility is looking for a Systems and Database Administrator responsible for managing, maintaining, and securing the organization's IT systems and databases. This role ensures optimal performance, availability, and integrity of servers, storage, and database environments while supporting business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
Key Responsibilities
Systems Administration:
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and virtualization platforms.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
Database Management:
- Administer and maintain databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle).
- Perform backups, recovery, and ensure data integrity and security.
Security & Compliance:
- Implement security measures for systems and databases.
- Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
Performance Optimization:
- Monitor and tune system and database performance.
- Plan and execute upgrades and patches.
Disaster Recovery & Backup:
- Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies.
- Support business continuity planning and testing.
Documentation & Support:
- Maintain accurate documentation of configurations and procedures.
- Provide technical support to internal teams.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience: Minimum 2 years in systems and database administration.
Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux servers and major database platforms.
- Proficiency in SQL and database management tools.
- Knowledge of virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud environments.
- Familiarity with backup solutions and monitoring tools.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
