Job Description

Job Summary:

  • Gathers information, documents and analyses business needs and requirements to identify opportunities for improvement in business operations and processes.
  • Liaises with stakeholders in order to understand the structure, policies, and operations of the organization and to recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals
  • Responsible for the documentation and analysis required to deliver digital product and experiences including but not limited to user stories.
  • Requires work to be carried out in a collaborative way, using agile and lean methods.
  • Plays a critical role in the software delivery lifecyclefrom functional specification, development, and testing.

Job Description:

  1. Elicit detailed functional requirements from product managers/owners, users, and key stakeholders and ensuring they are documented to a detailed standard in user stories for delivery.
  2. Identify dependencies, risks and issues as it relates the requirement throughout delivery.
  3. Contribute to discovery and facilitate grooming and user-story breakdown sessions.
  4. Collaborate closely with the Product Manager, Tech Leads, designers, developers, and internal stakeholders throughout solution design and through development.
  5. Translate business requirements into detailed technical specs for engineering.
  6. Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision.
  7. Work closely with stakeholders to ensure requirements are captured, scope is controlled, and expectations are met
  8. Creates and maintain high-quality business analysis artifacts, including specifications, user story, etc.
  9. Identify the risks associated with the proposed solution as well as the risk for not implementing the solution
  10. Effectively communicating requirements to stakeholders, managing conflicts, issues and changes in order to ensure that stakeholders and project team members remain in agreement on solution scope

Job Qualifications:

  • With experience systems analysis
  • Financial Services Industry Experience is a plus
  • Exposure to waterfall and agile methodologies
  • Process flow and diagram experience
  • IT development experience is a plus
  • Can read API request and response
  • Experience writing functional specifications and user stories
  • With exposure in integration, migration and data mapping
  • Experience working in technology enabled change programs/projects
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong ability to interface and build relationships with business stakeholders
  • Advanced writing skills
  • Good interpersonal and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other disciplines or cross-functional teams
  • High level of accountability
  • Self-starter
