Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced IT Specialist - Server Application Handling/Systems Administrator to provide advanced operational support and administration of Microsoft-based infrastructure and enterprise applications. The role involves managing backend systems, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of IT environments.
This position requires strong technical expertise in Windows Server environments, infrastructure services, and application support within medium to large-scale IT operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide2nd and 3rd level support for backend systems and hosted business applications.
- Administer and support Microsoft services including:
- Active Directory (AD DS), DNS, DHCP, IIS, Microsoft SQL Server, PowerShell and VBS scripting
- Maintain and administer supported systems and server environments.
- Troubleshoot issues across the full technology stack including infrastructure, middleware, applications, data flow, and connectivity.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex technical incidents.
- Conduct daily server health checks and monitoring activities.
- Support application automation, project initiatives, and system improvements.
- Create, maintain, and update technical documentation and knowledge base materials.
- Monitor server environments using enterprise monitoring tools.
- Support transition and continuous improvement initiatives by identifying business and technical requirements.
- Ensure compliance with operational procedures, SLAs, and internal policies.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and technical training.
- Perform administrative tasks including basic ARS administration and group management.
- Execute additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology or related field.
- Microsoft certifications or ITIL certification preferred.
- Expert of Microsoft Server Operating Systems, AD DS, IIS, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, Virtualization.
- 5years of working experience in System/Infrastructure/Application administration role in medium or large IT environment, experience in supporting business gold level applications.
- Windows Server environment experience min 5 years
- IT support experience min 5 years
