We are looking for a Server Operations Specialist to support and maintain our Windows and Linux server environments. This is a hands-on, operations-focused role where you will handle monitoring, troubleshooting, system improvements, and documentation while working closely with local teams and US-based IT stakeholders.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
- 35 years of experience in IT infrastructure, system administration, or server operations
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server and/or Linux environments
- Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution
- Basic scripting or automation exposure (PowerShell, Bash is a plus)
- Familiarity with patching, upgrades, and system maintenance activities
- Understanding of IT security basics and operational best practices
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal)
- Proactive, team-oriented, and willing to learn and grow
Nice to Have:
- MCSE, MCSA, RHCSA, or similar certifications
- Exposure to virtualization, cloud platforms, or enterprise environments
What You'll Do:
- Monitor and support Windows and Linux server environments to ensure stability and performance
- Troubleshoot server, system, and infrastructure issues and perform root cause analysis
- Monitor system performance and recommend capacity and optimization improvements
- Support server patching, upgrades, and configuration changes
- Assist in implementing infrastructure enhancements and new technical solutions
- Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles
- Support automation scripts and operational tools (PowerShell, Bash, or similar)
- Monitor logs and assist in identifying security risks or system vulnerabilities
- Participate in incident management, post-incident reviews, and improvement actions
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and global IT stakeholders on daily operations
