The Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytically driven Supply Planning Analyst to join our Operations team. This is a high-impact, executional role focused on the nuts and bolts of supply chain management—specifically purchase order (PO) lifecycles, SKU architecture, and supplier relations. We need a professional who is a power user of Excel and ERP systems such as NetSuite and thrives in a lean, fast-paced environment. While 85–90% of your work focuses on precise execution and reporting, you will also have the space to flex your problem-solving muscles and contribute to the continuous improvement of our supply chain SOPs.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like
- Purchase Order (PO) Management (40–50%): Own the end-to-end PO lifecycle—from issuance and supplier communication to updates and final closure—across 6–7 key suppliers.
- SKU & Pricing Maintenance (20–25%): Create and manage new SKUs, and update the pricing architecture to ensure 100% accuracy in our internal systems.
- Supplier Liaison (15–20%): Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers, clarifying requirements and relaying critical updates that drive necessary PO adjustments.
- Inventory Reporting (10–15%): Maintain and update recurring data reports within NetSuite and KetteQ to support demand forecasting and inventory tracking.
- Operational Optimization: Uphold documented SOPs while contributing ideas for process improvements, logistics transitions, and high-visibility product launches.
- Data Administration: Use tools such as Active Admin to manage forms and data, ensuring a seamless flow of information between the Operations and Finance teams.
What You Bring
- Analytical Prowess: Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, complex formulas, and data modeling is a must).
- Supply Chain Experience: A solid background in inventory management, supply planning, or operations within a fast-moving industry.
- ERP Familiarity: Experience navigating complex systems; proficiency with NetSuite or similar ERP platforms is highly valued.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills for managing vendor relationships and resolving PO discrepancies.
- Execution & Detail: A get it done attitude with an obsessive focus on detail and the organizational skills to manage high-volume transactional tasks.
- Critical Thinking: The ability to follow established SOPs while maintaining the flexibility to troubleshoot unexpected supply chain hurdles.
Bonus Points if:
- You have a background in consumer goods (CPG), e-commerce, or startup environments.
- You have experience using KetteQ or other advanced planning tools.
- You have previously supported logistics transitions or international supplier management.
- You are comfortable with data management via tools like Active Admin.
Salary Range:$7.00 - $9.00 per hour (Final offer based on skills and experience matched to role requirements)
