Overview
- This position is physically located in the Philippines in support of LOGCAP***
Under the supervision of the Supply Supervisor, the Stock Clerk performs clerical and physical tasks in connection with stocking control and management of stocked materials in the Supply Support Activity (SSA)/Joint Theater Distribution Center (JTDC). The Stock Clerk, IAW with Supply Supervisor and established written guidance, will be responsible for The Supply Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate accountability of government property, processing supply transactions, receiving and issuing materials, and supporting warehouse and inventory management functions, accountability of supplies, equipment and materials. in accordance with U.S. Army regulations, contract requirements, and company policies the Supply Clerk must work with other SSA personnel, Expediters, Transportation, and CRSP personnel to ensure accurate documentation, accountability, and receive, inspect, and process incoming supplies, equipment, and materials. Other tasks include verifying accuracy for received shipment data; properly packaging and/or storing materials, and loading shipments as needed; checking for damaged shipments, maintaining records e.g., DD Forms, pick tickets, storage receipts, and bills of lading. Must be able to maintain professional and transparent relationships.

- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, bills of lading, and receiving documentation.
- Assist with Post Goods Receipt (PGR) process and update inventory records as needed.
- Help compile data for reports on stock usage, inventory count adjustments and stock records, damage, or shelf life of stock, location changes, and denial of shipments.
- Store materials in designated locations using proper safety and accountability procedures.
- Fills orders or assist with issuing supplies from stock.
- Place identifying codes, figures, letters, or marks on articles using labeling equipment.
- Maintain accurate stock records, inventory logs, and supporting documentation.
- Move or transport materiel or supplies to other areas using pallet jacks, forklifts, or industrial trucks.
- Responsible for physical security of sensitive and pilferable items and ensures they are stored in accordance with all Army Regulations and local policy.
- Maintains inventory and other stock records using computer terminals, with inventory designated according to material, equipment, or product stored.
- Receives, stores, and sorts unserviceable equipment and supplies for disposal.
- Conduct cyclic and monthly inventory counts; assist with annual inventories as required.
- Identify, report, and document discrepancies, damages, or shortages.
- Use good judgment and available information in order to resolve issues.
- Demonstrates professionalism, handles stressful situations, and provides a high level of Customer service in a calm and professional manner.
- Maintains an effective working relationship at all levels of the organization, as well as with Client personnel.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within warehouse and storage areas.
- Comply with U.S. Army regulations, V2X policies, and applicable safety standards.
- Ensure safeguarding and accountability of assigned property, materiel, and equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have a High School diploma or equivalent and provide a copy of the diploma.
- Must be a Filipino citizen.
- Obtain a host nation Driver's License preferred
- Experience:
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in US military retail supply activity functions; storage and warehouse functions
- Minimum one (1) year of experience as Supply Clerk, Stock Clerk or other Warehouse Logistics administrative position.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook and other related applications
- Working knowledge of supply stock operations and inventory management.
- Experience with Maximo Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) System desirable.
- Skills:
- Ability to keep records and prepare reports and perform requirements with minimal supervision.
- Communicate clearly, orally and in writing to customers and workers.
- Respond to customer inquiries in a respectful and effective manner.
- Prioritize responsibilities to handle a demanding workload.
- Possesses thorough knowledge of GCSS-Army.
- Knowledge of forklift operation and procedures is preferred.
- Proper use of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of Applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Working Conditions:
- Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions.
- Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.
- Physical Requirements:
- Light work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.
- Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, Head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
