About Solviva
Solviva is a fast-growing solar startup on a mission to make clean energy accessible and affordable for homeowners across the Philippines. We're building the future of residential solar—offering flexible financing, the latest solar technology, and a seamless, hassle-free transition to solar ownership. As we scale, we need passionate, driven leaders to help shape our growth and the future of residential energy.
Solviva is the first venture launched from AboitizPower's 1882 Ventures, a venture studio focused on decentralizing the energy system and creating more sustainable homes, businesses, mobility, and networks.
Role Overview
Solviva's Supply Chain strategy involves complex, end-to-end coordination of high-value, fragile materials (PV modules and inverters) from China, through international freight, Philippine customs, and last-mile delivery to installation sites. Successful project delivery and implementation is highly dependent on ensuring data integrity and mitigating significant regulatory risks.
The strategy mandates structured Project Management approach across multiple phases—from Planning (sourcing) through Implementation (logistics) and Closeout (KPI review)—and requires rigorous management of external partners, including 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) provider and customs broker.
Project Planning
- Supports the Project Manager (PM) in the rigorous, successful and cost-efficient execution of the Supply Chain Strategy and project delivery.
Regulatory Compliance and Risks
- Ensure that Summary of Batch Nos. and Serial Nos.—a prerequisite for ICC filing—is mandatorily collected during the Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) in China and immediately transmitted for ICC application.
- Proactively track the ICC Cycle Time KPI to ensure compliance targets are met, preventing cargo holdup and penalties.
Project Control and KPI Monitoring
- Monitor and reconcile actual total landed costs (including customs duties, brokerage, and demurrage) against budgeted cost to prevent unexpected erosion of profit margin.
- Own the standardize Supply Chain Project Management dashboard, tracking high-risk metrics like Dwell Time (Customs to Release) and 3PL performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for On-Time Delivery (OTD).
Logistics Execution
- Gather and synthesize data from the 3PL's WMS/TMS via the API to provide the Project Manager (PM) with validated performance metrics, ensuring the 3PL adheres to contracted SLAs.
- Review 3PL performance data and analyze root causes for any variance or delay.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in supply chain management or project management
- Strong knowledge of supply chain and procurement processes, inventory management, and logistics
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with ERP systems and supply chain management software
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Familiarity with solar industry products and regulations is a plus
