Job Summary: The Manager of Supply Planning and Inventory Control is responsible for leading the planning and execution of supply chain strategies to ensure optimal inventory levels, efficient supply planning, and alignment with business objectives. This role will oversee demand forecasting, supply planning, inventory optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to support service level targets and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage end-to-end supply planning processes to ensure product availability while

minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.

Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations.

Analyze demand forecasts and historical data to create accurate supply plans.

Monitor inventory levels across all locations and implement strategies to optimize stock levels.

Identify and mitigate supply risks and constraints through proactive planning and supplier engagement.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives in planning tools, systems, and processes.

Lead, coach, and develop a team of planners and inventory analysts.

Generate and present reports on key supply chain metrics (e.g., inventory turns, fill rates, forecast

accuracy).

Collaborate with procurement and logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective replenishment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field (Master's

preferred).

4-6 years of experience in supply planning, inventory control, or related supply chain functions.

3+ years of leadership experience in a planning or inventory management role.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Excel and supply chain planning tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, or similar).

Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

APICS/CPIM certification is a plus.
