The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the supply chain processfrom procurement and inventory management to warehousing, logistics, and distribution. This role ensures that raw materials and finished products flow efficiently through the organization to meet production schedules and customer demand. The manager works closely with the Production and Commercial teams and utilizes SAP to track inventory, monitor performance, and optimize supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Planning and Coordination:
- Develop and implement strategic supply chain plans to meet business goals
- Coordinate closely with the Production Manager to ensure availability of raw materials and timely delivery of finished goods
- Collaborate with the Commercial Manager on demand forecasting, order fulfillment, and customer delivery schedules
- Monitor supply chain KPIs (stock turnover, order accuracy, delivery time, etc.) and propose continuous improvements
Inventory and Warehouse Management:
- Oversee warehouse operations to ensure proper storage, handling, and distribution of raw materials and finished goods
- Manage inventory levels to avoid overstocking or stockouts
- Implement accurate inventory control measures including regular cycle counts and reconciliations
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance for all inbound and outbound materials
Logistics and Distribution:
- Supervise logistics operations including shipment planning, carrier selection, and route optimization
- Ensure on-time delivery of goods to internal and external customers
- Resolve any transport-related issues and monitor logistics costs
System and Process Management (SAP):
- Lead the use and integration of SAP in all supply chain processes
- Generate supply chain reports and analytics using SAP
- Train staff on SAP usage and ensure data accuracy and compliance in the system
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
- At least 35 years of relevant experience in supply chain, warehousing, or logistics (preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment)
- At least 35 years of working experience in a managerial role
