Job Description

The Supply Chain Manager (SCM) is in charge of developing and monitoring the Company's supply chain strategy. The goal is to increase production and efficiency while lowering costs and assuring material quality and supply reliability.

The SCM monitors (1) Supply Planning, (2) Procurement, and (3) Logistics & Warehousing, which includes inventory management. He or she will analyze operational performance and, if necessary, rectify relevant concerns. The SCM also works with vendors and suppliers to ensure that all operations (such as shipping and delivery) adhere to quality and other requirements.

  • Creates the Supply Chain Strategy depending on the degree of service and cost.
  • All actions connected to the sourcing and purchase of necessary materials and supplies are planned, managed, and coordinated.
  • As needed, collaborates with plant, warehouse, and logistics divisions to determine and set up intercompany transfers.
  • Monitors and corrects warehouse inventory levels to maintain rotation and optimum working capital.
  • In charge of negotiating with vendors on critical projects.
  • Tracks and monitors Supply Chain KPIs to ensure they are within the target range.
  • Supports the proper utilization of the ERP system.
