Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator

Job Description:

Satellite Teams is looking for a highly organized and proactive Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator who thrives in fast-paced, global operations.

This is not just a coordination role, you'll play a critical role in driving visibility, efficiency, and on-time delivery across international supply chains, ensuring shipments from overseas manufacturing partners arrive seamlessly to final warehouse destinations. If you're detail-driven, solutions-oriented, and strong in managing multiple moving parts, this role is for you.

Responsibilities:

Shipment Tracking & Coordination

  • Track inbound international shipments from production to warehouse delivery
  • Monitor key milestones: production, booking, departure, arrival, customs clearance, and delivery
  • Maintain full visibility across all shipments

Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate daily with overseas teams and logistics partners
  • Act as the main point of contact for freight forwarders and customs brokers

Risk Management

  • Identify delays, risks, and bottlenecks early
  • Escalate issues with clear solutions and resolve discrepancies proactively

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate shipment tracking reports and dashboards
  • Ensure all shipping and customs documents are complete and compliant

Warehouse Coordination

  • Align delivery schedules with warehouse operations
  • Ensure smooth transition from logistics to warehouse receipt

Process Improvement

  • Handle shipment issues such as damages, shortages, or missing documents
  • Continuously improve logistics processes and reporting accuracy

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 1–3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or import/export
  • Strong understanding of international shipping and ocean freight
  • Experience working with freight forwarders and customs documentation
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and shipment tracking systems

Nice to Have:

  • Experience coordinating shipments from Asia
  • Background in manufacturing or consumer goods
  • Knowledge of Incoterms and US customs clearance
  • Experience with ERP or inventory management systems
