Position Summary
The Supervisor reviews the journal entries prepared by the Auditor to ensure accuracy with accordance to GAAP. He / She manages the daily auditing process providing guidance & support to the auditing team and ensure reports are distributed on or before the agreed timeline. He / She is responsible for reviewing Menu configuration, testing and access request of POS system.

Position Summary

He / She manages the daily auditing process providing guidance & support to the auditing team and ensure reports are distributed on or before the agreed timeline. He / She is responsible for reviewing Menu configuration, testing and access request of POS system.
Primary Responsibilities
- Supervises the preparation of daily journal entries to record revenue, expenses, and balance sheet postings.
- Prepares monthly reconciliation of system reports against general ledger account balances.
- Coordinates with other Finance team and Business Unit to ensure appropriate accounting treatment of transactions and address operational issues or provide operational support.
- Prepares daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation reports as mandated by government regulators and senior management.
- Supervises the auditing of all activity in accordance with Revenue Audit standard operating procedures.
- Reviews menu item configuration in the POS system and system access request actioned by Revenue Auditor to ensure it is valid, accurate and complete.
- Provides training and guidance to the Auditors.
- Supervises retrieval of documents requested by Internal and External Auditors.
- Assists the Manager, Audit in the supervision of the Audit team.
- Develops processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Identification and resolution of accounting exceptions including escalation as needed.
- Completion of monthly accounting close with minimal unresolved reconciling items.
- Effective communication with supervisors, peers, and subordinates.
- Adheres and supports the Company's Vision and Values.
- All other duties as assigned by Management
I. Experience
- Minimum of 2-3 years Audit or Accounting experience
- Work experience in casino or hospitality industry is preferred
Graduate of Business-related course preferably in Accounting
III. Skills / Competencies
- Good written and oral communication skills in English.
- Knowledgeable in MS Office Products particularly Excel.
- Ability to work autonomously and meets establishes reporting timeframes.
