ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR

MAAGIR Farm Corporation is looking for an Accounting Supervisor to join our growing team and help strengthen our accounting and financial operations across MAAGIR Farm Corporation and its sister companies.

This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys taking ownership, leading a team, improving processes, and working closely with Management and other departments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee daily accounting operations, financial reporting, AR/AP, reconciliations, and cash flow.
Ensure timely BIR tax filings and compliance with accounting and government requirements.
Supervise, assign, and review the work of the Accounting and Tax team.
Review invoices, billings, quotations, POs, and procurement-related documents.
Coordinate with Management, Sales, Operations, Procurement, auditors, and external accountants.
Maintain proper financial controls, documentation, and confidentiality.
Support budgeting, audits, government inspections, and process improvement initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or a related field.
CPA is an advantage, but not required.
At least 4 years of relevant accounting experience, including 1 year in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), BIR regulations, and taxation.
Experience in supervising and developing accounting personnel.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and leadership abilities.
High level of integrity, professionalism, accountability, and confidentiality.

WORK DETAILS

Work Location: On-site – Ermita, Manila & Ayala Circuit, Makati

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM

Saturdays: As needed, subject to applicable overtime arrangements
